Introducing Soul Searchers

Lots of us would normally be part of groups at school or in our churches where we can explore God's amazing story together. While we can't be together like that, it doesn't mean we can't keep hearing from God's word. Each week we'll put up a new video with the next bit of the story and some challenges for you to get on with at home.

Memory Stone

You will need:

  • scissors

  • glue

  • paint brush or glue stick

  • stone

  • old magazines or leaflets (the recycling is a good place to look!)

Step 1: Cut out all of the letters for the verse

"Why do you look for the living among the dead?

He is not here. He is risen!"

The more fonts and sizes you have, the more interesting your stone will look!

Make sure your stone will be big enough to fit all the words, if not you could just do the end of the verse or pick a different one!

Step 2: Put glue on the stone where you want to put the verse

Step 3: Stick down all your words. You may find it helpful to put glue on top of the letters too to help them stick down properly.

Step 4: Leave it to dry.

Step 5: Put your stone somewhere in your house where you will see it often.

Why not ask one of your parents to take a photo and share it with me so that others can see your creation!
